...or so my dad called it. Last week was spring break (sadly, must refer to it in the past tense) for my siblings and I, so my mom flew out to Scotland to join my dad, who had already been in the country for over a week. While my dad was mainly there for work, and will fly there again in April, the few days when my mom was also in the city were filled with appointments at schools, looking into a few houses, and dealing with things at the bank. By the Lord's grace, the trip went smoothly and I'm extremely glad to have all six members of my family back at home. :)

Because Aberdeen is a coastal town, no matter where you live you will nearly always be close to the beach - and while it really is a gorgeous beach, I can't say I'm looking forward to the annoyance my parents say the seagulls are...

The third picture from the top is the entrance to the Robert Gordon School, one of the many schools my parents visited. They both liked it and out of all the possible high schools for my brother and I to attend, it's our second choice. Their favorite school, however, was the Grammar School (bit of a misnomer...it's actually not a school just for grammar. ;) - unfortunately, all of the 'good' high schools in Aberdeen are pretty full, including this one. My parents were informed that residents in the surrounding area are put at the top of the list, though, which leads to quite an exciting piece of news, at least for me... :)
...my parents bought a house!
Well, kind of - they made an offer on one, so please be praying that we get the house! It's a good size, in our price range, and only a few blocks from what will hopefully be my sister's school and also nearby both the Grammar and Robert Gordon Schools - which is why we decided to make an offer so quickly - getting this house would really increase the chances of my brother and I getting to attend our first pick. :) (I would also really appreciate prayers for this, as I worry way too much about the school situation...)
Anyways, my siblings and I had a great spring break (thank you Kellers and Grays for your hospitality!), as did my parents - and now that they're back, moving has become the subject of all conversations. ;) Our house currently reeks of fresh paint (prepping the house before putting it on the market), and my dad has a long To-Do-Before-Moving list - and, unbelievably, only two more months to check it off! Someone please notify me of where time has gone, for I'd like to find it and plead it to come back...
